TaperCam Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales. We are the data controller for information collected through this website. For any privacy-related question or request, contact privacy@tapercam.com.

2. What we collect

When you join the waitlist, we collect your email address. That is the only personal data we actively collect through this site.

We do not use advertising cookies, third-party marketing pixels, or analytics trackers on this site. Technical data (such as your IP address and browser information) may be briefly processed by our hosting provider to serve pages and prevent abuse, but it is not retained or tied to your identity by us.

3. Why we collect it

We use your email address only to:

• Notify you when TaperCam launches and early access becomes available to you
• Respond if you contact us about the product
• Send occasional updates about the pilot programme and launch timeline

You can unsubscribe at any time. We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with any third party for marketing.

Our lawful basis for processing your email is your consent, which you give by submitting the waitlist form.

4. How long we keep it

We keep your email address until the earliest of:

• You ask us to delete it
• 24 months pass with no interaction from you
• TaperCam ceases operations (in which case all waitlist data is destroyed)

5. Where your data is stored

Waitlist submissions are processed and stored by Netlify Inc. on infrastructure in the United States. Netlify acts as our data processor under the UK GDPR and is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct any inaccurate data
• Ask us to delete your data
• Object to our processing
• Port your data to another service
• Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@tapercam.com. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices evolve. Material changes will be notified to everyone on the waitlist by email and reflected in the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
